Splatter Vinyl Record
Splatter / Marbled Discs are available in 2 sizes and made from from 1mm thick polycarbonate.
Total thickness with inner 2-side print is 2mm.
12” Splatter / Marbled Disc:
- Length at 33⅓ RPM needs to be limited to 18 minutes per side for best quality.
- Length at 45 RPM needs to be limited to 14 minutes per side for best quality
7” Splatter / Marbled Disc:
- Length at 33⅓ RPM needs to be limited to 6 minutes per side for best quality.
- Length at 45 RPM needs to be limited to 4:30 minutes per side for best quality.
Splatter discs are unavailable for lathe cut recording in general, this is the most similar to it, with potentially even better results, as the audio is recorded on an actual clear record instead of a coloured one, which has more surface (due to the actual colour itself). So as this is not an actual Splatter Vinyl Record, it just looks identical and it's 100% playable vinyl. We can also do any tint/colour variation you want!
